Summary
Tianlang-jun’s eyes light up before they soften, wrinkling at the corners. Something in Su Xiyan’s chest tightens at that look being fixed on him, something he firmly ignores. Tianlang-jun plucks a small, plum-topped biscuit from a plate with one hand and props up his chin with the other, that look never fading as he takes in the sight of Su Xiyan to the fullest.
“Su Xiyan…” he repeats, smooth voice lowering to a murmur. He pops the plum cookie past his lips and hums, almost too quiet for Su Xiyan to hear, “such good fortune I’ve found, indeed…”
