Summary
Joe has only known the sea, it's where he grew up, it's the only place he has known as home. Throughout the years he has made something of a family in his crewmates, and yet sometimes he thinks about what would have happened if he never set sail.
Forty has known the sea, lived the sea, and hated the sea. All Forty wants to do is leave his pod, and explore all the places that dry land can take him. When a sailor dives into the water to save his friend, Forty doesn't think, he just knows he doesn't want the sailor to die.
