Summary
After the war, Hogwarts is no longer the same. The castle has been rebuilt, but the wounds of battle run deep especially for Hermione Granger. Haunted by the memory of Bellatrix's torture and carrying scars both visible and unseen, Hermione returns to finish her final year determined to prove that knowledge is still her greatest weapon.
But nothing is simple. Her breakup with Ron has left a rift in the trio's friendship, and the golden days of unity feel more fragile than ever. Seeking solace, Hermione buries herself in the library, where quiet stacks offer comfort and distraction.
It's there she finds herself drawn into an unlikely partnership with Draco Malfoy. Once her enemy, now equally fractured by the war, Draco becomes the one person who understands the shadows she can't escape.
As study sessions turn into confessions, and tension gives way to something dangerously close to longing, Hermione must decide if some scars are meant to fade or if love can be forged from the ruins of war.

Summary
Draco Malfoy had been sentenced to a life in Azkaban after the war, and had resigned himself to that fate. That was until Hermione Granger showed up one day with his release papers in hand and informed him that they were being forced to wed under the new Marriage Law saying she was going to let him live his life as he saw fit, with no expectations or conditions.
He had always been told he had made all the wrong choices, but truth be told, Draco Malfoy never really had a choice at all. Not in how he was raised, what he was told to believe. Not in how he was required to carry himself. Not in taking the Dark Mark. Not in his first mission as a slave to the Dark Lord. Not in what would happen in his future.
Hermione Granger was now giving him choices over his own life, and he wouldn't fuck it up.

Summary
8 years after the death of Voldemort at the Battle of Hogwarts, Shacklebolt is dead and John Dawlish has become Minister of Magic. All was well until the Daily Prophet began a fear campaign around another dark magic uprising. With Wiggenweld also becoming exceptionally hard to come by, Peace and Order were the most prominent words being thrown around magical Britain. A ministry-led program, Magical Matches, was created to force marriages between magically compatible witches and wizards. The Ministry had declared that strong magic bonds would be the key to prevent another dark uprising in the future, placing emphasis on the need for a stronger magical population. When Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy are paired together as Magical Matches, they are forced to face their true feelings about themselves and each other.
