But The Watchman’s Rest has always had a heart, even if its current keeper, Jon Snow, tries hard to pretend otherwise.
Reluctantly, Jon gives her a chance. What follows is a slow, gentle unfolding: nervous first shifts, spilt pints, the soft hum of found family, and the way a worn-out man and a woman learning to trust again might fall into something like love.
