Summary
Matt Murdock and Foggy Nelson are both professors to Columbia Law students. It's well known among students that both are fantastic professors and brilliant lawyers. Students that have Professor Nelson are subjected to quite a bit of his life story and know that he's married, has two kids, and basically everything else anyone could want to know about him. Students that have Professor Murdock know a total of three things: his name is Matt Murdock, he's blind, and he's married. And they only know that last one because of the wedding band on his finger. It's not uncommon for students to have both Professors Nelson and Murdock over their time as law students, and usually students have them multiple times. It is, however, rare that students have both professors at the same time. A lucky group of six are in class with both this semester, one class right after the other. If they're lucky, these six may earn some new insight into both professors.

But Steve is not her quiet Italian father, and Robin is not her patient yet free-spirited mother. Maybe someday Steve will be a good husband who still loves his wife even when their children are grown. But this isn’t a scene she was meant to take part in.
“If you’re feeling awkward about last night,” and Robin’s a bit impressed with Steve’s awareness on this one. “Don’t. Seriously, like, most people I’ve known have fallen asleep on top of me. Shit, that came out wrong.”
This is able to draw a laugh out of Robin, and after a drive to work with Steve, going slower than usual so she can apply eyeliner in the car, she’s almost forgotten the shadow that crossed her mind earlier.
By the time they’ve realized they’d forgotten to return Cabaret and have racked up a late fee at their own place of work, it’s like it never happened.
