He can just tell when a 12 year old pink haired stranger in a red hoodie, ripped Jean short overalls and stupid neon sneakers runs up to his bully to smack his kneecaps in with a skateboard in his hands. And as soon as Megumi sees the idiot flash a smile at him, a stupid grin with one or more missing teeth and a beautiful shade of brown, he knows that that stupid smile will never leave his life.
Even if Megumi doesn't want it to.

Summary
a white room. white walls, white tile floor, white bed sheets under which he laid. all of it was so condescending to the neverending darkness megumi plummeted through for two straight months. his body falling farther into his own shadow and bearing witness to his worst nightmares committed by his own two hands. he wanted to cackle in the face of its irony, but he found his vocal cords dysfunctional. not that he had much use for them anyways.

Summary
Yuuji had been experiencing some sort of separation anxiety— or whatever you call it when his omega couldn't help but drown in his nest with barely a mind to his health. When Megumi had walked through the door, his alpha instincts urged to find his omega after not receiving a single message the whole day.
Worry had etched deep in his bones due to some reason, when he found Yuuji, in his clumsy nest, clutching one of his sweaters to his nose while he had draped himself with nothing but Megumi's shirt and baby blue panties.
Before the alpha could utter a word, he was startled by the sudden pounce from his Omega. Yuuji barely tried to hide the sobs that ached to rip through him. An overprotective lilt seeped into Megumi's scent, his strong arms locking securely around Yuuji.
It was only after he had calmed Yuuji down— which took a lot of time considering the instant (whines) request asking Megumi to scent him— did he figure out the reason for his distress. “I felt anxious when I couldn't sense pheromones.”
