Summary
Klaus somehow, somehow, figures out how to manifest himself visibly, as some sort of shade passing as a living man, to talk a high-as-a-kite Luther into going home. He doesn’t touch Luther once, and his ghostly self feels a bit lightheaded, but he walks beside Luther until they’re back to the Academy and Luther has fallen asleep on the staircase.
“I’ll tell him I’m dead when he’s sober,” Klaus tells Ben. “I’ll do it.”
“Okay,” says Ben.
Klaus doesn’t.

When Klaus dies on the dance floor, God kicks him out of the afterlife. But she only kicks him out halfway.

Klaus findet irgendwie heraus, wie er sich sichtbar machen kann, als eine Art Schatten, der sich als lebender Mann ausgibt, um den völlig zugedröhnten Luther dazu zu bringen, nach Hause zu gehen. Er berührt Luther kein einziges Mal, und sein geisterhaftes Selbst fühlt sich etwas benommen, aber er geht neben Luther her, bis sie zurück zur Akademie sind und Luther auf der Treppe eingeschlafen ist
„Ich werde ihm sagen, dass ich tot bin, wenn er nüchtern ist“, sagt Klaus zu Ben. „Ich werde es tun.“
„Okay“, sagt Ben.
Klaus nicht.

Als Klaus auf der Tanzfläche stirbt, wirft Gott ihn aus dem Jenseits. Aber sie wirft ihn nur halb hinaus

Don’t even look at me, guys. Edit: I read it. I did not watch the fucking show but I read the fucking fic. And it was great. And all these guys are such horrible people and need so much therapy. Ben is genuinely my favorite. Oh my god.

Klaus dies in S1 at that club, and comes back as a ghost. Shenanigans ensue, a whole lot of fluff and, ya know, the family learning about the dying thing.
