Choi Han should have met Lock and Rosalyn by now, yet what was this uneasy feeling that Cale was feeling rising in his chest?
Taking a sip of the lemonade that Ron had brought him earlier, Cale couldn't help but tap his fingers on the desk. The uneasy feeling was making him restless, especially since he didn't know why it was happening.
After a few minutes of restlessly tapping on the desk, Cale released a sigh. Slouching back into the surprisingly soft chair, he stared up at the ceiling in dismay.
Yet the moment Cale had decided that he was probably overthinking was when something happened. It looked like his body was shattering. Cale didn't know how else to describe it. Cracks were appearing on his skin like he was breaking like glass.
"Human!?!" The little black dragon shouted in a panicked tone, causing Cale to look up and realize that the same thing was happening to the dragon.
Just before Cale could reach out to the panicking dragon, they both shattered.

"He is rather attractive..." Cale murmured, oblivious to the looks shot to him by many.
Cale seems to have forgotten that most in the room are enhanced... including their hearing.
Taylor though was sitting near and heard Cale's words. He smiled gently towards Cale. "Why thank you, little brother."
Cale jolted. "Huh? Who are you calling little brother?!"
This prompted a laugh from both Taylor and Cage.
Some were able to guess that there was an inside joke between the three while others were just confused by the interaction.

Taylor on the other hand had a single question for Cale after he read this. "Young Master- no, Dearest little brother..." He started with a teasing tone. "Did you know I was after the Vitality of the Heart, but since you took it for yourself, you instead left the note about the Crown Prince since you felt like you owed me?"
That was hitting a little too close to home for Cale's liking. But he couldn't exactly deny it, since it was sort of true.
Turning his head, he said nothing. But many took this as a confirmation which didn't exactly work in his favour.
The Young Master of the Henituse family was kind of adorable.

Ah. Busted. Cale sighed thoughtfully.
Shocked gasp rung throughout the audience. How ruthless of the Young Master to do such a thing.
“For all of his limbs to be recreated it means that he had lost them all in one way or another…” Bud commented wanting to add more drama.
Tch. Cale stiffened at all the gazes that seem to want to tear right through him. The gaze that scared him the most was Ron’s.
What scared him about Ron’s gaze wasn’t the distrusting gaze the many others in the room were giving him no, it was the speculating gaze of a leopard staring down at its prey.
Despite Cale’s belief that his butler was planning on eating him, Ron was merely thinking about how merciless his Young Master truly was to his enemies, the previous wiki had displayed Cale in a good light making the Young Master seem naïve. Ron felt that it was good that Cale could defend himself and that his heart wasn’t that soft.
Other group though focused on another part. Mary the necromancer. Mary herself was very shocked. So, the Mary that the dragon… Raon was referring to was truly her? She had been allowed to travel to the surface and explore like she had always wanted to?
It filled her with a sense of hope for the future.

“I am the one who is normal! It’s not my fault other dragons can’t socialise.” Raon pouted trying to get Cale to comfort him. It felt like this text was directly targeting him.
“Yes, yes it’s them and not you” Cale sighed, rubbing the little dragon’s head gently.
Rosalyn watched the two with a soft gaze. She wondered how she fit in, in their little family.—

Tasha’s arm tightened around Mary, lowering her voice she whispered into Mary’s ear. “Even if the God’s won’t acknowledge it, you’ll always be family to us Mary.”
The hooded girl tucked her head into her Aunt’s chest taking comfort in the woman’s warmth.―
