Summary
Instead of meeting in Sicily in 1948, Michael and Apollonia meet one another in New York, 1950.
After a year of hearing Apollonia’s incessant pleas, her father agrees to let Apollonia go to college in New York to study the arts. However, she was to be under the protection of the Corleone family, a family that was very well-known in Sicily.
Quickly, she grows fond of Michael Corleone, but she is very wary of the fact that he’s engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Kay Adams. Should she deny her true feelings for Michael as his wedding day approaches? Or should she accept his offer to join him in one night of passion with no hopes or expectations?
