Summary
On a cold winter night in St. Petersburg, Eve Polastri tracks Villanelle through a labyrinth of cobblestone streets and historic buildings. As she approaches the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood, she sees Villanelle standing there. Villanelle smirked and beckoned Eve to follow her, and the looming structure of an opulent apartment building came into view with its grand façade and intricately carved stone details. Eve steps inside, and the contrast between the cold outside and the cozy warmth of Villanelle's apartment is stark.
"Stay with me," Villanelle whispers, her voice low and husky. "Stay with me tonight, Eve. Don't leave."
Eve doesn't hesitate. She knows that this is what she wants—what she's been craving since the moment she met Villanelle. So she nods, a small smile on her lips, and follows Villanelle deeper into the apartment, closing the door behind them as she does so
