Kenji thought after everything that happened, he would've gotten a better sleep schedule, but as it turns out between raising a Kaiju toddler (apparently Kaiju newborns act like human toddlers)and training an alien (who you're somehow married to by Nebula M78 standards) to act like a human, having a baseball career and fighting Kaijus (that last part is sort of becoming a special occasion thing due to the help of his alien husband?? Aoi) really makes it hard to sleep on time.
Even with the help of BOTH of his parents, its still pretty hard to catch a break sometimes.
It was pretty rough the night before considering, Emi began to fuss a lot and no one could figure out why, not even her birth parent (HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE? YOU'RE THE SAME SPECIES!) and getting her to sleep took a long time (and Aoi was NOT helping his ass)(seriously how does someone sleep through this?), so much so that when he went for his scheduled interview, he was SO sleep deprived that he could barely comprehend the questions.
"Mr. Sato are you feeling alright? You seem really doozy?" An interviewer spoke up.
Kenji barely registering their question, "I'm sorry, it's just *yawn* Emi was really fussy last night and Ultraman sleeps like a log, so I had to be the one to *yawn* take...care of...her."
Everyone in the room gasped while Kenji processed what he just said, "This interview is over." He said before rushing out of the room.
This is not going to end well.
