At first, Haley just assumed she hated Leah. It would make sense; she hated plenty of people in this stupid tiny town. She hated the way Jodie looked at her like she was the devil. She hated the way Demetrius talked to her like she was an idiot. She hated how Harvey told her she should take iron supplements and she hated the way her stupid sister made her feel like a child.
Leah seemed so grown up. Living alone in that cabin of hers, working on her art and making a living for herself. Leah was never mean to her, never talked down to her, never made her feel like some useless kid. She always listened, made eye contact, looked at Haley’s lips a lot when they talked.
Shit.
She didn’t hate Leah. She wanted to fuck her.
