Summary
Things go wrong, one after the other, but Hermione is nothing if not resourceful.
Harry dies? She builds a time-turner to fix it. The time-turner flings her 40 years further back than she intended? She'll adopt Tom Riddle and love the evil out of him, ensuring he'll never go after Harry in the first place. Dumbledore unexpectedly dies before he can take out Grindelwald?
Well...that one might be a bit trickier to fix, but she'll manage. Somehow. She just needs to keep the teenage Dark Lord who's convinced himself he's in love with her at arm's length while training him to take on Grindelwald in Dumbledore's stead.
Everything will work out. Probably.

She can fix this. She has to fix this. There’s no way she’ll let either Tom or Harry grow up in a world ruled by Grindelwald.
She’ll just… take on one of the most powerful wizards of all time with countless followers, all by herself.
Easy peasy.
What’s one more Dark Lord? She helped take out the last one when she was a teenager.
(And now she’s raising that Dark Lord and he’s in love with her and he kissed her and she’s been replaying the memory ever since and now she killed Albus fucking Dumbledore for him and oh dear Merlin what is she going to do?)
Hermione screams into a sofa cushion, the scream soon devolving into hysterical laugher.
A few moments later she’s unsure whether she’s laughing or crying or both.
She huffs and shakes her head. “…anyway. I don’t know much about your Hogwarts years, except that you opened the Chamber of Secrets when you were sixteen.” She sighs, with a small, rueful smile. “Guess some things can’t be changed. Originally, however, you set the basilisk on the castle, and it killed Myrtle Warren. You only closed the Chamber once there was talk of shutting down Hogwarts for good, and framed Rubeus Hagrid for his–”
Hermione pales and her hand flies to her mouth as her eyes widen in horror.
“Oh – my – fucking – god – I completely forgot about the bloody acromantula!”
Tom raises his brows. “…Hagrid has an acromantula? What, in the castle?”
“Yes,” Hermione whimpers. “I can’t believe I forgot about it! Dear Merlin, it’s sheer dumb luck it hasn’t killed anyone this year – oh, how could I – stop laughing, Tom!”
He can’t. The sheer absurdity; a third-year, raising a deadly spider in a school!
It doesn’t take Hermione long to start laughing as well, and when they eventually subside into the mere occasional chuckle, Tom feels a lot better. It’s difficult to hold onto his anger when the sound of Hermione’s tinkling laugh still echoes in his ears.
“Anyway,” Hermione sighs, lips twitching intermittently despite her clear efforts to the contrary, “you framed Hagrid, his wand was snapped, and you received an award for special services to the school. Dumbledore wasn’t fooled and kept a rather close eye on you after that, so you never opened the Chamber again.”

This is a cute story and it’s actually pretty well written too. None of the weird ex that you come across with a Tom Riddle Hermione Granger story.
So Hermione goes back in time to try and save Harry, but she honestly accidentally goes too far and ends up in World War II, where she adopts Tom Riddle who’s a teenager. And she’s an incredible and mysterious figure in his life, and he eventually ends up falling in love with her. Hijinx and Sue, and lots of stuff in Hogwarts changes which they need to cover up.
The pacing is quite good and I enjoyed the plot and the romance also wasn’t bad overall I think this is a very good story though nothing groundbreaking

Excellent HP AU. Hermione loses it a bit when Harry dies, and invents a new type of time turner. Unfortunately she ends up in 1941 instead of 1981. She Griffendors ahead and takes in Tom. Both of them end up with more then planned or expected. Tomione. Complete 30ch
