Summary
Lucien is back to living and working in the Spring court after the events of A Court of Silver Flames when he gets a visit from his brother Eris. Eris is planning on making his bid for the Autumn court throne soon, and he wants Lucien to return to Autumn. Lucien is not so keen to return to Autumn, but Eris makes it clear that he will Force Lucien to return and an argument ensues.
Several courts want Lucien for his work as a courtier and emissary, but none more than the Night court.
