Summary
His name is Beau Bennett. To his teammates, he’s sunshine incarnate; naive, irritatingly kind, and far too willing to laugh off their violence and crude remarks. To his coach and the team doctor, he’s a textbook fawn response. One of the most obviously abused kids they’ve ever seen. To Michael Legare, Beau was everything at once.
