Things did not go as planned.
I'll give you the short version- Lybhurst was, in fact, not at all ‘not too far’ from them, and after a couple days of traveling through the middle of nowhere, Bill was fully ready to dump the elven child and let her fend for herself. Ford, however, was slightly more morally inclined than Bill and suggested that instead of leaving a helpless child to her certain death, they raise her themselves.Needless to say, Bill did not approve of this plan. But apparently a week of arguing and still not finding a town can change anyone’s mind.
And that’s how the two perhaps most incapable people became accidental parents.
Basically the Mr. Pines AU but they're space pirates and they have a daughter yayyy :DD
