Chapter Text
The Marley Military Convoy of Trucks and 2 Lion Tanks came to a screeching halt a few meters from the Southern Gate of Shiganshina and the looming form of the hardened crystal form of the Attack Titan.
The right most tank’s top popped open as a man dressed in a military Uniform climbed out and stared down at the Crystal in front of him.
Shaking his head with a look of disgust and smugness the man pulled a cigar out taking a puff.
“These Island Devils with their barbaric and disgusting displays of art or what they think passes as art, almost feel a bit sorry for them that were gonna tear right through them.”
His smug look turned to a frown though as he looked around the field they were in.
“Though I do find it odd how we were able to make it up here from the Coast with nary a Titan to disturb us?”
His attention was brought back to the gate as it soon exploded in a rush of crystal flying everywhere.
“What in the name of hell! Soldiers form up we have-”
His order was not finished as a Thunder Spear flew through the air along with several more from the top of the walls all striking down like Thunder from the heavens, for the poor Marlyan Officer his days were over as he along with his Lion tank exploded in a rush of fire, this startled the rest of the convoy as the they began desperately firing at the wall, but the roar of the Attack Titan signaled to them that they had bigger issues at hand.
Rushing forth from the smoke of the destroyed front Crystal statue came the Attack Titan who held in his hand a chunk of said Crystal using it as a shield to block incoming Lion tank artillery rounds.
Alongside him came the various members of the Scouting Regiment Special Operations Squad.
Jean, Sasha, Connie, Marlowe, and Floche ridding out on Horseback while Levi, Mikasa, and Armin flew out via their 3DMGs, flinging themselves up onto the shoulders of the Attack Titan.
After a safe enough distance away from the wall the Attack Titan flung his Crystal Chunk shield using it to topple over the last Lion tank as well as the military trucks.
“Well that takes care of them-.”
Levi stopped short as another gun fire came from the toppled over trucks, it seemed the Marlyans were not to keen on losing to a Titan and the Scouts today after all.
“A little help here would be nice!”
Levi yelled out as Sasha pulled up a Bayonet Rifle and shot the nearest Marlyan, thankfully this seemed to get the message across along with the fact the Attack Titan stood over the group.
Armin, and Mikasa dropped down from the shoulders of the Attack Titan just as the ones on horses came circling around.
“Not gonna lie that was not very smart of you to do to us.”
Levi glared down at them from high on his perch.
One of the soldiers spit out towards him.
“Do your worst Devil Scum we will never submit to you!”
The Attack Titan moved forward a bit just as the soldier dropped his rifle and fell to the ground in a vain attempt to crawl backwards.
“I would do what he says if I were you, after all Captain Levi and I are the only ones who are permitting you to live right now.”
Spoke the Attack Titan as he knelt down to haul the man up, his two other comrades were already being held at gunpoint and blade point if you were by the other Scouts.
“How many are out at the harbor?”
The two stood there looking at one another for a few moments until Eren’s impatience with the man got the better of him.
“How many are out in the harbor!”
He yelled the repeat of his question this time which caused the soldier to curl up for a second.
“J J Just two Battleships one of which docked with us and we have a ground team at the wall.”
That was good enough for him as the hand of the Attack Titan dropped the poor man to his death causing the other two soldiers to recoil back in fear and even the Scouts to look a bit disturbed.
“I’m all for putting the fear into someone but dropping them to their death like that is a bit much don’t you think brat?”
Levi tilted his head to look at the face of the Attack Titan as visions of the future, of things that may come to pass flash through Eren’s mind.
Visions of Liberio destroyed in flame and ruin, the eventual Civil War that would tear Paradis Apart, and of course the rumbling.
None of this had to pass though and Eren knew deep down Levi was right, there was no need for excessive violence this time around.
“Sorry just, going through a phase.”
The ol faithful phase excuse that should work.
“Whatever you say Brat just tone it down a bit.”
The sounds of horses from behind them caused Eren to turn the Attack Titan around as soldiers from the Garrison rode up towards them with Captain Brezenska in front.
“Captain Levi good to see you caught a few of the invaders!”
Levi nodded to her as Brezenska dropped off her horse.
“We can take them in for questioning if you want while you try and make it closer to the Coast.”
Dam it that’s right the port!
The response from the soldier he just killed played through his head again.
“We need to make it to Krugors wall and fast before they start unloading more tanks and Armored Artillery!”
Levi nodded as he turned back around to the others.
“Armin, Mikasa get back up here! And the rest of you form around us were heading for the Coast!”
Hopefully if they were quick enough they could make it to the Coast under and hour and smash through the invasion force.
It was a hope but a dim hope none the less.

Thankfully the rush to the Southern Coast of Paradis and Krugors Wall did not to long for the Special Operations Team, not a concern one bit what was a concern though for many including Eren was hearing Artillery fire and the sounds of the Battleships out in the bay this far back from the approach up the dunes.
“So that does not look or sound like they are firing on us what the hell is going on down there!”
Connie yelled as the group came to a stop at the perimeter gate of Marleys make shift military camp, or what remained of it from the last time Eren was here when he went to rescue Ymir with Hange and Armin.
To the groups collective surprise a Third battleship was in the bay but not dawning the colors or flag of Marley but instead an unknown flag.
Unknown to everyone but Eren that is, he immediately recognized the flag of Hizuru, but what were they doing here this early as well? And why were they fighting Marley in the port.
“Whoever it is, it plays to our advantage for the time we have! And we have little of that to go by as it’s going to be afternoon soon!”
Levi turned to Floche and Marlowe.
“Fraudenberg, Florster take up positions here at the front of the base make sure no one gets through!, Jean, Sasha, Connie see if you can put the fear of Paradis into the soldiers in the camp while Eren, Armin, Mikasa, and I will attempt to make it to the wall and sink the battleships!”
Jean, Sasha, and Connie gave each other a funny look before Jean cleared his throat.
“How the hell are we sinking one of those metal monsters!”
The Attack Titan gave a roll of it’s eyes.
“With my help you horse faced goof!”
He took off in a run heading forward into the camp while everyone else not on the shoulders of the Attack Titan pulled off to do their various objectives.
“Armin, Mikasa when we reach the ramp were pulling off to cover Eren getting up onto the dock, Eren I leave the rest to you.”
The Attack Titan gave a gruff nod of his head and as they reached the ramp leading up Levi, Mikasa, and Armin jumped off from the shoulders of the Attack Titan to fight several Armed Guards on the wall.
Good luck you three your gonna need it.
Eren thought as he jumped from the top of the wall diving down into the Ocean, the proceding splash of water would cause a wave of water to hit the first Battleship already docked at the port.
“What the hell was that!?”
The Battleship’s Captain yelled as he and the first Officer rushed to the window to see what came from the ocean but to their shock they were rising up into the air.
He quickly grabbed the Ship Intercom Mic switching it on.
“Yelena get your ass into gear with Onyokopon and shoot whatever that is-”
He stopped just as the face of the Attack Titan came into view.
“All hands abandon ship, abandon ship one of the Devil Monsters is below us!”
It was to late though as The Attack Titan pulled the Battleship up into the air and began carrying it with him to shore.
“Holy shit looks like the crazy bastard can lift a boat after all!”
Jean yelled but had a grin to his face as both he, Sasha, and Connie had pulled back towards the gates with Floch and Marlowe upon seeing the Attack Titan coming forward ashore again.
Artillery Fire from the second battleship came quick though hitting the Attack Titan in the side causing him to stumble to the side a bit.
Fuck that hurt a lot Eren noted as pain started welling up in his side.
Thankfully this was only a minor set back as the combined fire power from the Hizuran ship off shore and the timely intervention of Levi, Armin, and Mikasa with Thunder Spears knocked out the Artillery Guns on the second ship allowing Eren to continue moving forward.
Forward, always moving forward no matter what would come his way, or the way of his friends and family.
A grin formed on the face of the Attack Titan.
He was the same as he ever was, Eren Jaeger holder of the Attack Titan hero of Paradis and while he may still struggle with the more darker parts of his life especially now knowing his future, that did not mean he was going to give up.
With another mighty roar the Attack Titan brought the Battleship crashing down, slamming it into the port camp.
This action would cause several on board to tumble out into the sandy dunes and the ground below the beached boat but well that was their own dam fault for being aboard in the first place.
“Now then lets see about whoever was onboard in the first place!”
Levi, Armin, and Mikasa landed down away from Eren just as Jean, Sasha, Connie, Floche, and Marlowe rode up pointing blade and gun.
He himself would stand here as the Attack Titan, it was a better fear intimidation tool, and well it was cool all things considered.

“Alright I am going to say this one come out with your hands up and drop your weapons!”
Silence soon followed as the sounds of Artillery fire from the Hizuran ship stopped.
“Burn in hell you devil scum along with your island!”
The Captain of the ship came out along with his first officer as he pointed down his rifle.
Jean, Sasha, Connie, soon pulled up their own weapons pointing at him.
“Now that’s not very nice you shit faced son of a bitch considering we have the leverage here, let me remind you of my friend standing over there behind your beached vessel.”
Levi pointed towards the Attack Titan who stood high above the Battleship.
This did nothing it seemed to get the Captain of the boat to lower his weapons.
“Burn in hell Devils we of Marley will never give into you!”
He went to pull the trigger but something else happened a Blonde haired woman in military garb walked up blasting the mans brains out.
The rest of the crew on the deck turned from the Scouts having momentarily forgotten them to pointing their weapons at the woman, and her companion a dark skinned male.
“Yelena what in the hell was that for!”
Something shifted in the Attack Titan’s expression causing it’s eyes to go wide momentarily, most did not seem to care about this and or were focused on the boat and it’s crew but Mikasa was not like many other’s she owed a debt to Eren a long time ago and could easily figure when something was up.
Arching her view upwards she caught sight of the Titan’s expression before it turned normal.
What the hell are you not telling us Eren?
She thought before shaking her head and turning back to the boat.
“Drop your weapons boys.”
The woman called Yelena said as she pointed her own gun at the young man who was in charge of this group and soon Eren came to recognize who it was.
Niccolo odd that he was the one in charge of this small group but well who was he to judge.
“Are you out of your mind woman you just shot the Captain dead!”
Yelena only shrugged.
“I did, but that’s not what’s important here, look around you were surrounded by a Titan and people with guns and odd shaped swords, now if you want to go down fighting be my guest but I don’t fancy doing that.”
Niccolo trembled for a second before he lowered his guns, soon followed the others just as Levi, and the Scouts boarded the vessel to apprehend the survivors onboard.
Eren dropped the Attack Titan down to the ground and grabbed a hold of Armin and Mikasa’s hands pulling himself up and out.
“Well that takes care of that I suppose.”
gripping a hold of his 3DMG Eren shot up to the deck of the ship with his best friend and sister.
“Eren glad you decided to join us, we were just taking these pieces of shit in.”
Levi turned from him to the group eyeing them for a few seconds before turning to Yelena.
“I don’t know who you are or why you decided to turn on your boss here but well, welcome to the filthy island of the filthy Devils enjoy your stay.”
Yelena chuckled for a second before her and the dark skinned man who Eren recognized as Onyonkopon stepped forward.
“Like wise, allow me to introduce myself and my Companion my name is Yelena and this is Onyonkopon we have a lot to discus Mr?”
Levi narrowed his eyes.
“Levi.”
At the mention of Levi’s first name Yelena smiled at him.
“Yes Mr. Levi!”
Levi was about to respond before Eren cleared his throat.
“We might want to send someone up to greet our other guests who have docked by now at the port.”
He turned and pointed up to Krugors wall where the Hizuran Ship from earlier had now docked with many of it’s passengers beginning to disembark.
Levi sighed as he closed his eyes before opening them again.
“Armin your the best at negotiations go up and greet them, the least we can do is thank them for their help, the rest of you are helping me bring the Marlyans ground side.”
Eren nodded as he and Mikasa walked alongside each other moving forward to place their hands down on both Yelena and Onyokopon’s shoulders.
A tense feeling soon entered Eren, it had been a long time since he last saw or spoke to Yelena face to face, having done so before putting his former plans into motion before coming back in time.
With Zeke now dead though this caused a complicated situation to turn potentially more chaotic.
Ah well something to deal with later.

A few hours later after everything had settled down and the prisoners were secured in the former camp prison building, this included Yelena and Onyonkopon by the way.
Eren, Levi, Armin, and Mikasa all sat in the Camp’s former Officer briefing room where across from them sat a small delegation from Hizuru.
“Let me first start by saying it is so good to see that Paradis has pushed past the Titans finally to reach the sea, when we heard news that Marley was preparing a second invasion and since we were in the area on a trading mission to the Mid East we saw no better opportunity then to help our former allies.”
Odd that’s not how things happened last time, Eren had to mentally shake his head at this thought as most of the time things had spiraled into new directions as if a domino effect had gone off.
“I have to say you have us at a disadvantage we were unaware we had any “Allies” outside of the island, in fact just a while back we were informed by several prisoners we took in that most outside here hate our guts.”
The Hizuran at the edge of the Huzran side of the table took in a bellowing laugh, from what Eren heard this man was named Tengu Yozuka a known diplomat in Hizuru, interesting to say the least since last time it was Lady Azumabito who came, Eren no doubt knew Lady Azumabito would make an appearance some day at the very least.
“Far from the truth Captain Ackerman, perhaps we could discus it over tea and with your companion here Mr. Arlet.”
A Grin appeared over Levi’s own face.
“That sounds agreeable.”
Levi turned to Eren and Mikasa.
“You two go check on the rest of the group.”
Eren and Mikasa nodded and saluted their Captain before leaving the building shortly after a bit of walking Mikasa placed her hand on Eren’s shoulder causing him to look back in confusion.
“We need to talk Eren.”
Oh boy this was gonna be interesting.
“About what?”
Mikasa narrowed her eyes.
“About how you seem to be angrier then usual lately, how you made up with Reiner, Bertholt, and Annie so fast, and how you seem to know things like who the Hizurans are.”
Eren sighed, he knew this was going to happen sooner or later he could not keep the info from her forever.
“Mikasa please understand things are complicated right now, and what I am about to tell you can only be uttered between you, me, Armin, Captain Ackerman, Commander Erwin, and Deputy Commander Hange.”
He took a deep breath.
“I’m from the future, a future timeline where things go off the rails.”
Mikasas eyes went wide and she opened her mouth in shock and maybe a bit of horror.
“But does that mean, our, my Eren is gone?”
He shook his head.
“Not exactly because I am him just from the future, it seems my memories and experience were sent back with me as well, these things you say I know well I know them because it happened to me in the past as well, suffice to say thanks to this I’ve managed to change the timeline for better or for worse I do no know.”
Without warning Mikasa embraced him in a hug startling Eren.
“Mikasa?”
She looked up at him.
“I do not know what’s going on and I won’t pretend to tell you that I know how things will go but at the very least your here and that’s what matters right?”
Eren chuckled as he patted her on the back.
“Yeah I suppose it does, now come on lets go find Jean and the others and maybe try getting something to eat while were at it.”
Whatever the future held at least he had Armin and Mikasa with him this time around so maybe it would not be so bad?
