Summary
In retrospect, proposing a game to the entire Centaurs team that was going to end with public documentation of Shane's undying love for his husband was maybe not the most professional thing Harris had ever done -- but Dykstra had an idea, and who was Harris to tell him no!
IE: The Centaurs try to slip in words or phrases unrelated to hockey into their post-game pressers, chaos and love ensues. A cute little quick fic bc I can't get this out of my head!

Summary
In January 2017, the Montreal Voyageurs ceased to exist. The owner and GM vanished after embezzling $600 million into a crypto scheme, forcing the franchise into federal bankruptcy and immediate dissolution. Contracts were voided overnight. Shane hadn’t spoken to Ilya since the tuna melt incident. Now, with no team, Shane could end up anywhere, on opposite sides of the country, or in the same locker room as Ilya.

Okay listen, I hate the fact that Ilya & Shane kept their relationship a secret for so long and I hate the fact that they both ended up leaving storied franchises because of the secrecy and the drama.So we're gonna pretend like that never happened. It's January 2019, my precious sons came out to the public post Scott & Kip, and are living their best lives hating each other on the ice in Boston & Montreal while being happy in love (when Ilya isn't scheming).
Ilya is a menace but the WAGs are obsessed with him.
