Summary
Enid Sinclair leaves because she loves Wednesday Addams too much to keep disappearing inside her.
Six months later, Enid is trying to be visible again, and Wednesday is trying to prove she does not care with the sort of commitment usually reserved for homicide.

Selene Jolivette is a girl from Nevermore, who seems normal while everyone else is labeled an outcast for their flashy abilities or uncanny visage. Her secret is temporal resurrection.
Unlike Pugsley she cannot shock someone back to life. She can tweak a person's timeline to bring them back, but only one at a time. Overuse, or trying to save someone who won't change, can erase them forever or create a paradox. She can access a void space to "steer" or "spy" on a person's memories. She learns about a former Nevermore student from Agnes, a professor and Ajax it sparks her curiosity. An inexorable, unsettling drive propels her to employ her gift to grant Issac a second chance. The pull between them is dangerous and forbidden, a dark love entwined with death and mystery neither one of them are ready for.
