Summary
Jake Peralta used to be a foster kid.
His dad got into some real trouble and his mom lost custody, so for two years, Jake got stuck in the system. He barely remembers most of it, the entire first year clouded in fog of confusion and disarray, but one specific placement is horribly clear.
When he was under the custody of Raymond Holt and Kevin Cozner.
Now, over ten years later, Jake mostly tries to forget about his time in the system, but when his new captain is his old foster parent? It brings up old memories he's tried to bury for a long time.

A sharp little fang sunk into Will’s bottom lip as he bit down hard, a bead of blood trickling down his chin. Something shifted in the air. Will caught a whiff of acridity, Doctor Lecter’s dark eyes flaring amber—an ambiguous shade, deeper and darker than omegan gold, soothing and warmer than alphan ruby. His gaze reminded Will of a tiger—or some as-yet-undiscovered predator. It passed in an instant, and Will was left wondering if he’d imagined it.
“You want to… with me?” Will felt as though he might faint. His own voice sounded foreign to him.
“Most certainly.” The answer came without hesitation. “You are intelligent. Beautiful. Atypical. These are all highly attractive qualities.”
“D’you often find yourself attracted to the atypical?” Will croaked. Doctor Lecter stared at him as though he were peering into Will’s soul.

There are way too many Robins. Something called a Justice League exists, and Peter is pretty sure this is what copyright infringement feels like.
Gotham already lost its Spider-Man once, it's not letting this one go so easily.
