Secrets had a way of being weaponised when half the inhabitants of base possessed both telepathy and no sense of shame. Neil didn’t care for anyone else’s secrets; Andrew didn’t care to let anyone in. Their dragons, well, they cared a lot, mostly about each other.

Summary
When Andrew, Renee's right hand man, asks her to holiday with him while he visits his paramour in a neighbouring (rival) kingdom, Renee is only too happy to go along. When that holiday turns into her scheming her way into a royal competition to win the hand of Princess Allison, well, that she's less happy about, but needs must. And one of her co-competitors, a rough street fighter with a smile to die for, is interesting enough that Renee doesn't feel like losing quite so soon.
If she can balance falling in love while trying her best to arrange a Walkeran-Reynoldian marriage and end a decade old feud involving a horse and a dinner plate, well, no one said Renee couldn't multitask.

Come down slowly, Joe thinks hysterically as he descends the ladder right into the arms of this man who, very unfortunately, smells incredibly good, just a hint of sandalwood on his skin, and feels incredibly firm and comforting against Joe as he makes sure the ladder doesn’t break while Joe’s still on it.
