Summary
Steve Harrington is a son of Aphrodite ─ not in the...classical sense, though he does naturally look attractive, but more in the 'smack a bitch and survive countless monsters' sense ─ and has known he was since he was 9 when he was first taken to Camp Half-Blood and claimed by Aphrodite. At 10 he was sent on his first quest, earning the first bead on his necklace, from then on he went on a few more quests and was sent off to Hawkins, Indiana. Where nothing ever happens.
Until Will Byers goes missing.

Summary
Eleven was terrified - that was what the scientists and Papa had called her when she didn't want to do something, along with brat, Eleven doesn't know what these words mean but by the looks on their faces they had to have been angry - and when she felt something wiggle up her back into her mind she had thought it was the boy in front of her and had ended up throwing him up against a wall. Eleven had held him there in fear of him running off to go tell Papa and the bad men, but she felt a slight push back against her invisible hold and had to push back harder. Only after pushing this boy(?) - he seemed too old to be a boy - into the wall had Eleven noticed that he had a set of his own numbers on his wrist. She had forced him to move his arm up toward her so that she could see the number more clearly. Eleven held her wrist up against his and mouthed 'Brother' his wrist said '007', somebody she knew, her big brother. She dropped her hold on him he crashed down on to the floor after the unexpected drop, but he got up smoothly and gently brushed off his clothes. Seven turned around to look at the new him shaped hole in his wall and sighed slightly, like this had happened before.

Steve could hear the search party. They’d started up near the Byers house the day after Will was reported missing, slowly expanding out further and further into the woods. Their shouting—their begging—melded into white noise beneath the gentle susurrus of wind among the branches. Steve wondered if Will could hear them, wherever he was. Were he hiding in the hollow of a fallen tree or locked in someone's basement, maybe he could hear the hundreds of voices shouting his name and know that, no matter what, someone was searching for him.
