Summary
During his incarceration, Hannibal sends Will a total of sixteen letters over the span of three years.
An attempt of figuring out what exactly happened in the time skip from Hannibal’s arrest to the end of The Wrath of the Lamb. About the trials we never got to see, a marriage we know nothing about, Will’s loneliness and his longing translated through a correspondence in (love) letters.
The shame, the sexual frustration, the attempts at relapsing, all the promises broken and all the ''I miss you''s that were never said. Because love is an unhealthy addiction, and only fools believe you can live pretending it isn't there.

Summary
“You sound pleased,” Will says at last.
“I am,” Hannibal answers smoothly. “You’ve decided to be more direct in seeking what you want. It suits you.”
Will rises from the chair, deliberate, and crosses toward the desk. He wants to unbalance the dynamic, refuses to be just another patient across from Hannibal. That role is long dead. His gaze slides to the waiting glass of wine, dark and full beside Hannibal’s books. “Maybe I just got tired of dancing around you.”
“Yet, you still circle,” Hannibal observes, standing alongside him as if compelled to mirror Will. “Is it wariness, or anticipation?”
“Maybe both,” Will says, his voice quieter now. Hannibal takes a half step closer, a subtle test of the distance between them. “You’ve left me no shortage of reasons for either.”
Hannibal’s mouth curves - not quite a smile, but something close. “Then perhaps you’re beginning to understand the luxury of wanting both. Violence and intimacy are never as far apart as people pretend.”

Summary
Will Graham is young, beautiful, and far too dangerous for anyone’s comfort — least of all his own.
With no name, no title, and no patron but his pride, he leaves Gascony with nothing but a blade at his side and a fire in his chest. Paris does not welcome men like him. The Musketeers even less so.
But Will intends to make them see him.Hannibal Lecter, meanwhile, is the court’s most exquisite weapon: Commandant of the King’s Musketeers, adored by queens, envied by generals, untouchable in every way that matters.
He has danced through a hundred duels without a scratch. He has long since forgotten what it feels like to be surprised. And then, one morning in a forest just outside Saint-Germain-en-Laye, a boy with wild curls and blood on his mouth puts a blade to Hannibal’s arm — and draws the first cut anyone has ever left on him.
What follows is not friendship.
It’s not rivalry.
It’s something much better.
Something that sings in steel and silence and sweat.A story of court politics, sharp tongues, sharper blades, and two men who should never have met — but can no longer step away.
He should have been forgettable.
He wasn’t.
