Summary
Remus has always been in love with Sirius but never plucked up the courage to act on it. Sirius Black, the brightest star, always surrounded by lovers, by people constantly falling over themselves for him. Sirius, on the other hand, only ever had eyes for James. He always considered Remus a loyal friend, someone who was always there, happy to take whatever Sirius offered, satisfied to wait in the shadows until he was needed. When Sirius returns from Azkaban, a broken shell of a man, he only has eyes for his godson and Remus is once again left behind, shut out.
When Sirius falls behind the veil at the Department of Mysteries, grief grabs a hold of Remus and in his desperation he returns to Grimmauld Place and little does he know that the house that Sirius hated so much might hold the answers to all his dreams.
Because of a twist of fate, Remus finds himself eye to eye with an eighteen-year-old Sirius Black, in his prime, the person that Remus loved deeply but also maybe hated a little bit. And now he has the chance to do something about it.
