    Summary

Something else he’d once said about combat occurred to her: if you think, you’re dead.
Since he wasn’t going to give her the chance, she stopped thinking.
Ignoring the staff and its need for Veil focus, she reached out with her free hand for the undeniably more dangerous raw magic of the Fade. Her arcane instinct told her it would be easy to access in the pocket reality of the Crossroads. Indeed, it answered instantly, swirling around her with frightening ease.
“We can give it a go, if that’s what you want,” she called instead.
Lucanis laughed. “And how will you do that with your staff so occupied, hmm?”
She didn’t answer. She just formed the lightning and threw.

After Weisshaupt, Lucanis is rattled, and asks Rook to help him understand this strange symbiosis with Spite the only way he knows how—by asking her to fight him. Rook reluctantly agrees. An arduous fight to the finish ensues, where they both learn things about each other along the way.

Post-Weisshaupt, Pre-Bloodbath/Inner Demons/the meat of their arc. They're grappling with their burgeoning feelings for each other while physically grappling, y'all.

    Summary

The Veil fell to the Dread Wolf’s betrayal, and Dizzy walked away—from everything.

Two years later, she’s still walking. Avoiding people. Avoiding memories. She isn’t looking for redemption—or for anyone at all. But the world has other plans.

First comes Crybaby—a Spirit of Disruption with a talent for trouble. Then Lucanis—the man she left, and still loves. Lace Harding follows, all bright smiles and new sharp edges. Cole, gentle and unnerving, arrives next. And finally, Felassan—a man broken by Pride. Together, they form something like a team.

Once, Varric asked her to help him save the world. She tried. She gave everything—pieces of her soul—and she failed.

Kingdoms fell, religion toppled, and now Dizzy must choose: run again, or risk it all to fix what’s left.

The strange thing about failure is that hope can grow in the cracks. And Dizzy, for all her damage, keeps finding people who believe in her. Maybe that’s the worst part—because when they look at her, they see a leader. She just sees a tired woman trying not to make the same mistake twice.

A story of aftermath, love, and reluctant hope—a road trip through the end of the world, and maybe a chance to save it anyway.

    Summary

Spite decides to spare a tiny elf tossed into the fighting pit to piss off the guards. But when Lucanis recognizes it as a fellow Crow and refuses to hurt it at all, the guards toss down a canister of poison that makes some new instinct emerge. Something hot and needy pushing out between their legs. These new instincts whisper that it needs to pin the elf down and mix their scents together. Nothing else will do.

    Only her.

    --

Rosa has three options: keep running until either the aphrodisiac or the abomination catch up with her, die violently trying to fight a monster three times her size, or meet its needs willingly and hope to survive the encounter. It's the logical option to choose, but the spores have her compromised and enjoying the situation a lot more than she should.

She's only doing whatever it takes to get the job done.

Then she's just helping a neglected beast get some relief because it can't take care of itself.

And then she ... may have lost the plot a little. Because she absolutely cannot take this monster home and keep it collared and well-trained for her own personal benefit. This is just another contract.

    ... right?
