“So let me see if I understood you correctly,” Eames said, accent fluctuating between the sharp, crisp Queen’s English of his upbringing and the blander Estuary accent he’d been using to blend into the bleak little part of London where they’d established their base in this warehouse. “You want to break into the mind of one of the most notorious members of the dreamsharing community because you think that he stole information from someone high up in the government.”

His boss lets out a heavy sighs and leans back in the uncomfortable chair in the interrogation room she’s commanded for this off-the-records-talk.“Do not, and I repeat, do not leave this room while you read this file. Once you’re finished, leave this room and look the door with the code I had you memorise.”
Mac's life has been controlled by shadowy outside forces since he was a child. When his past collides with his presence, Mac needs to decide whether keeping his secrets is worth the price of his and, by extension, Jack's future as well.

Summary
Jill finishes college in record time and is still pondering two separate job offers from equally prestigious tech firms, when her dorm room is invaded by a woman she does not yet know is going to be her future boss. Their first meeting is less than auspicious:
“Ms Morgan. My name is Matilda Webber and I’m here with a job offer.”
Jill stares at her, incredulous. “Should I call the police?”
Needless to say, she doesn’t take the job.

Summary
Matty ambushes Mac on a Sunday before he’s had his first cup of coffee. This is kind of unfair but Mac is a spy and his boss knows she has to take advantage of his weaknesses if she wants to catch him unaware.
“You’re going on vacation,” Matty states, voice hard and leaving little room for argument.
“Whut?” Mac blinks, trying to make sense of the fact that she’s standing in his kitchen at half past seven on a Sunday morning. Behind him, the coffee machine makes a pathetic noise before shutting down, and he remembers that he was supposed to repair that yesterday.
In a world where soulmates recognize each other by their first words, Mac takes a vacation that goes downhill fast. In the end, it takes the combined effort of the Phoenix team to save the day and Mac's soulmate.

Summary
Jonah looks at him and smiles. The expression transforms his somewhat brutish face and makes him look a lot less intimidating. Angus finds himself smiling back hesitantly.
“No, I’m not going to kill you, kid. Like your dad said, most of us are pretty harmless to humans. Do you know why?” Jonah tilts his head back slightly and Angus catches a glint of metal at his throat.
“Because of the collar?”
The man nods. “Because of the collar. Long as I’m wearing this,” he says, tapping a finger against it, “I’m no danger to anyone Uncle Sam doesn’t approve of.”
In a world that's neither fair nor kind, being a werewolf means living life as a second class human. Thankfully, Mac and Jack have never been very good at taking things lying down.

When Murdoc kidnaps a BAU agent from under the noses of the FBI, seemingly at random, Mac is forced to reveal the secret he's kept from his friends all these years - he has a sister. One he hasn't seen since the day before his - their - tenth birthday. And now, his most dangerous enemy has her.
