“Are you… are we… did Stick do this?” Kid Matt asks. “He said there’s things I wouldn’t understand and would practically think was magic, but…”
“No, I don’t think so,” Matt says, sounding unsure. “I’m not sure what did this.”
Foggy plants his hand on his forehead. “Oh my god. Time travel!” he exclaims.
“Yeah, it would seem,” Matt says.
“Not some de-aging machine.”
“No,” Matt says. “Not a de-aging machine.”

Matt Murdock wasn't supposed to be assigned a roommate at all. And now he's stuck with this loud, flirtatious presence in his room, one that seems morally dubious and asks far too many personal questions. It's all Matt can do to get some space.

“Hi,” the other Miles said through his mask, then looked down. Miles looked down with him and realized they were still holding hands. They let go at the same time.“You’re me,” the other Miles said. Apparently he’d gotten the handbook.

Wait and see what? Until when? Until Miles’s dad went to jail for five years, only to be liberated by some podcaster with a savior complex who took an interest in his case? Was that the pipe dream they were waiting for? Because if so, Miles wasn’t game.
That night, the last piece of the bottle appeared in his sock, pushed out by the healing skin.
He held the piece in the palm of his hand and hit the true breaking point.
(Miles's dad is wrongfully arrested. He and his mom need a little help resolving it. Turns out that there are a couple especially helpful hands somewhere in all those spiderverses.)
